Some call this experience “stagnant faith.” Stagnant means sluggish, inactive and motionless. Let us not stagnate in our faith.
It’s true, when we become new creatures in Christ, our sins are forgiven and removed “as far from us as the east is from the west.”
That mindset is reflected in Christ’s servant attitude. He set aside the glories of heaven, taking on human flesh and living among us.
